I am a huge fan of the WNBA and I'm so happy that the season is about to start soon. It is so sad that the start of such a season is the sad ending of someone's life. Margo Dydek, who was the tallest active professional female basketball player in the world standing at 7'2", has passed away yesterday of a heart attack at the age of 37. She played for four teams Utah Starzz, L.A. Sparks, Connecticut Sun, and San Antonio Silver Stars. I first noticed her reading a magazine and she struck my attention by palming a basketball over a woman of average height's head while wearing flip flops. I admired her playing style and her the way she worked hard with her teammates. She will definitely be missed. My prayers are going out to her family and friends.

I was so shocked to hear about this; and she was 3 mos pregnant too. I really feel for her family. I see you're a Liberty girl, I like the Sparks, but I may be switching teams. One of my childhood friends sister was drafted by the Liberty and I'll be cheering her on! :-)
