Rest In Peace Steve Jobs

Photobucket

February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011

The last "RIP" blog post I did was back in August for Nick Ashford, so I was nearly floored to hear that the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc., Steve Jobs, had passed away today. I knew even if I was only able to type something short, I'd rather have something than nothing at all. He was truly a visionary and a genius who took the computer age to new levels. He created products that were ahead of their time. He will always be remembered for his computer expertise and not just the man with the black turtleneck shirts, which he alwaya wore. Overall, I am a Mac Head and he will be missed! My prayers go out to his family and friends, also to the Apple Inc. family.

Quote from the famous Apple commercial I live by:
Think Different:
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in a square holes, the ones who see things differently, they’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is, ignore them, because they change things, they push the human race forward and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do."
